Behind it stretches a misty, enchanted valley dotted with faintly glowing towers and floating lights, rendered softly out of focus. The goblet’s stem is twisted like entwined vines, catching silver highlights from the twilight sky, while the liquid within glows subtly from within. The polished marble floor reflects the rose like a mirror, while billowing silk draperies in midnight blue frame tall arched windows in the distance. When it comes to writing, regardless of your preferred genre, world building is a prime example of the limitless and vast immagination we all carry with us.

Within any story, the world created is in a sense, a deeper part of the writer who wants to portray this world within.

He or she creates this world through creative description and immagination.

Often these worlds are taken from personal experiences, places, times in history or immaginings of the future which beckon the pen to travel into more depth.

It is the structure, the legs that hold up the table, the foundation that holds the story together.

This writers preferred genre is Romantic Fantasy Fiction. Castles, knights in shining armor, majestic horses, magical lands, myth, lore and legend intrique me in a deep soulful way. This along with a romantic flare fill me with eagerness to get words on paper and begin to create my world as the story blossoms within.

There is no limit to world building. Its yours. Its deep and personal.
